Link settings control how long a hosted journey link stays valid, and whether your customer can return to a journey they haven’t finished. The settings apply to the journey, so they cover both the invites you send from the GBG Go platform and the links your own integration creates when it starts a journey.
Link settings apply to hosted journeys only, in both Low-code and No-code delivery. An API-first integration renders its own screens and manages its own sessions, so it doesn’t use link settings.

Before you begin

Ensure you have the following:
  • A hosted journey in the Journey builder.
  • Permission to edit journeys in your organisation.
To configure the link settings of a journey:
  1. In the GBG Go platform, click Dashboard.
  2. Click the Actions list for your journey.
  3. Click Link settings. The Link settings dialog box appears.
  4. Select a Link expiry period.
  5. Select a Session behaviour.
  6. If you select Resume later, then select how long your customer has to return to the journey.
  7. Click Save.
Link expiry sets how long the link works after you send it. The dialog box contains the following options: A link also stops working once your customer completes the journey, even if the expiry period hasn’t passed.

Session behaviour

Session behaviour sets whether your customer can return to a journey they started but didn’t finish. The dialog box contains the following options: Select One-time only when you want your customer to complete the journey in a single sitting. Select Resume later when your customer might need to gather documents or other information before they can finish. When you select Resume later, select how long your customer has to return. The following options are available: Your customer can resume the journey until that period passes, the link expires, or they complete the journey.
