# Get started with GBG Go

> See how a GBG Go journey runs from build to review, step through every API call in the integration sequence, and follow its next steps.

GBG Go is an identity verification platform. Your team builds a journey from verification modules, your end user completes it, and the GBG Go platform returns a decision. To learn the terms used on this page, see [Key concepts](https://docs.go.gbgplc.com/docs/go-v1/get-started/key-concepts.md).

You build every screen in your own app, and your server drives the journey through the [GBG Go API](https://docs.go.gbgplc.com/docs/go-v1/developer-integration/overview.md).

Every journey follows the same six phases:
