# Lloyds Smart ID

> Verify identities using Lloyds Smart ID, a reusable digital ID from Lloyds Bank that lets UK users share verified identity data without physical documents.

A secure identity solution provided by Lloyds for authentication and verification. Released in 2023 by Lloyds Bank, this reusable digital ID lets UK users verify their identity for businesses without sharing physical documents—only the necessary data (e.g. name or age) is disclosed for each verification.
